Jason Alligood

Jason has been a staff member of New Community Church in Wildwood, MO (suburb of St. Louis) since November of 2000, when he became the Minister to Students.

As Pastor of Family Ministries, Jason oversees the implementation of programs whose goal are to “proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.” (Col 1:28) This includes encouraging parents to teach the things of the Lord to their children diligently (Deut 6:6-9) and the church to follow the admonition of the older teaching the younger (Titus 2:1-8). In addition to this, Jason also works closely in assisting Pastor Jerry in day to day tasks, as well as providing counsel and education to the families and individuals of NCC.

Jason is a 1997 graduate of the historic Moody Bible Institute where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Student Ministries and Bible and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Bible and Theology from Calvary Theological Seminary.

Jason’s joy has been to be married to his wife Amber for eleven years. Amber ministers to the young women of NCC. Amber’s main ministry is to their three children, Jonah, Karis and Aubrey in their suburban St. Louis home.
